UPDATE II: Hello world!

Last month we introduced our monthly update and in no time we had hundreds of new subscribers, from home and abroad, so from this month this update on LinkedIN will be in English.

Jouw.id (dutch for ‘your’.id)

The service that we are rapidly developing is 1 login for different platforms, where you save your settings and preferences once in your personal data vault. So no more cookie walls, but personalization on all platforms where you will use this new service. We recently announced internally that we have chosen the name jouw.id for this purpose! And now you know it too.

The idea behind this is that in the current data ecosystem the data is always tied to the service and is often presented as my.servicename. While of course not a single data point in those ‘my’ environments actually belongs to you as a user. With jouw.id you will not only be able to log in to all your favorite platforms, but you will also be able to really decide for yourself what happens to your data. In clear language with transparent settings. This way you can keep your own lists of news preferences, most important interests and favorite brands, and decide with whom you share what for how long. You remain anonymous, but your preferences are still recognized. Just like in real life. So jouw.id is truly all yours!

Demos I & II

On February 1 and 29, our Product and Tech teams presented the latest insights and updates regarding the development roadmaps of the Dutch Data Vault.

We also took those present through the test and validation roadmap for the coming period. The first smoke tests and interviews have now been completed. The results are very positive and support many of the assumptions. At the same time, they also provide new insights. We will include this in the coming iterations of our service. Below is a small sneak preview of some of the first designs.

Hello World’

In addition to the first 2 demo’s in terms of product development, another important milestone has been achieved in recent weeks; the first code release is a fact. We will continue to build on this in the coming months to be able to test a technically functioning product on a small scale in Q2.

As previously announced, we work closely with a number of specialist partners. Without them we would not have been able to make so much progress in such a short time. A small shout-out for our tech partners from Muze , Athumi , Datavillage – Confidential Data Collaboration and Triple | Full-service Digital Agency .

Momentum

At Dutch Data Vault, we have been looking with above-average interest at developments around us in the field of data ownership and relevant trends for some time now. Below are a number of links to ‘interesting reads’ as we shared them in our team in recent weeks.
